The 2026 Secret City Improv Comedy Festival will feature the largest lineup in festival history. We are proud to announce that, after a record-setting submission period featuring over 50 entries, we will present our most jam-packed festival, with 38 improv teams and over 150 performers on our stage. Our lineup will feature teams from Juneau, Alaska, to Boston, MA, to Orlando, FL, to Los Angeles, California, and all points in between, spanning 22 cities and 16 states!
We will be seeing returning teams from Knoxville, TN (Playback Reloaded, Einstein Simplified, Pretend Friends Improv, and Manatee Vanity Improv) Oklahoma City (Flow), Raleigh, NC (Newt Work), Chicago (Catbomb), Mobile, AL (Dad Company Improv), Nashville (Nashville Improv Company), Orlando (Four First Names), Jackson, TN (Hub City Improv), Ravenna, OH (Porch Cats), and Big Bang Improv from Boston, MA!
This year we are welcoming teams from close to home like A Few Small Tears In My Few Small Beers, to teams that are traveling the furthest to reach us, But of Mind from Juneau, Alaska. Teams from totally new places like Improv Little Rock (Little Rock, AR), Drama Queens and Play Cousinz from Charlotte, NC, Middle Part Improv and Last Minute Request from Birmingham, AL, The Charm Offensive from Asheville, NC, and our special It’s A Secret Ensemble, which will have players from Johnson City, New York City, and Durham, NC!
This year will be the most diverse, funny, interesting, and incredible group of performers ever to take our stage. Shows range from the incredibly silly to those that present themes such as mystery, drama, and even puppetry. There will be something for everyone this year.
